Hameau du Perigord is a picturesque 250 year-old Perigordine farm situated in four acres of lawn and meadows overlooking a valley in south Dordogne.  Accomodation comprises two stone holiday cottages and the main farmhouse occupied by the owners. The position of the farmhouse and cottages are such that they each maintain privacy and independence

The area is primarily agricultural and the houses are bordered by open farmland. During the summer months the surrounding fields are cultivated with a mixture of sunflowers, maize and wheat. The views from the hamlet are spectacular and there are excellent walks and cycle rides in the vicinity (see activities page)

Swimming Pool  

Hameau du Perigord is situated between the medieval villages of Eymet, Issigeac, Castillonnès and the town of Bergerac.  With direct airline links to an ever-growing number of destinations in the U.K and Europe, Bergerac airport is only 20 minutes drive away.

The cottages are positioned around  a beautiful infinity-effect  (14 x 8 metre) swimming pool with a separate children’s pool. The pool complex is fully landscaped with several terraces and garden areas. The pool area is fenced for safety.

A stone terrace with an outdoor eating area, stone barbecue and an adjacent shower and WC border the pool area. There is also table tennis.

Deckchairs and sun-beds are provided.

Enjoy the warm summer evenings relaxing around the pool, playing games and eating outside or, if your fancy takes you, take a short car ride to the many restaurants nearby which provide superb wines and delicious food to suit any pocket.
